How to leave my friends duo plan

Please help me I want to leave my friends plan and start my own

You can leave a Premium Duo plan by following these steps:

1. Log in to your account page. 
2. Under Your plan, click Change Plan.
3. Select Cancel Premium under Spotify Free.

When you leave your friend's Premium Duo plan, your account will revert to the free plan and you can then subscribe to your own Premium plan here.

Can I re-join my duo ?

1st example "If I leave my duo with A and join Duo with B. Can I leave by duo with B and Join back Duo with a after a month ?

2nd example "Can I leave my duo with a and join family B. After a month leave Family b and Join Duo with A?"

Hi @Amol_ykzi!

You can change Duo/Family plans once every 12 months. This means that you can switch your plan to Family now (given that you haven't changed plans in the past 12 months), however, you won't be able to join back your previous Duo plan until the lockout period expires.

Hi how long is the lockout period when you leave and if i leave the duo from one acc and join it with another is that possible?. I want to close my acc and crete a new one thats linked to my gmail.

Thanks for reaching out and welcome to the Spotify Community!

There shouldn't be a lockout period if you decide to leave the plan from your current account in order to close it and then join with a new account. Since it would be a new account that hasn't been associated with a plan before, there shouldn't be any issues.
