How to switch premium individual to premium duo

I'm trying to change my plan from Premium Individual to Premium Duo. However, I am met with error message 'Sorry, you are not eligible for that plan. Here are some other ways to get Premium.' I have tried on both web browser from my laptop, web browser incognito mode and from my cell phone.


I have read on Google that I need to cancel my current plan and sign up for the Premium Duo. My greatest hesitation here is that I will lose all of my playlists by cancelling. My current plan is a subscription through the Apple store. I'm not sure if that makes a difference to provide that piece of information.


How can I switch to Premium Duo without losing any data? Please help!

Hey there @rprum,


You've found the correct info - you're not able to start a Duo plan with Apple as a payment provider. You do need to cancel and wait until your subscription reverts to free and start your new plan.


No worries, you won't lose your content and playlists while changing your subscription type. You'll just need to re-download them again when you get Premium.
