How to update payment method after living to another country

I opened my account when I was living in France. I’ve now been in the UK for several years and want to close my French bank account. So I need to use my UK bank account to pay for the subscription. However it won’t allow me to switch from France to UK payment. I don’t want to close my Spotify account with all my playlists just to reopen one in the UK.

In this case, you'll need to cancel your current subscription and wait for it to end. Once it has ended, you can change your country setting through the dropdown menu here.

Once that's done, you can subscribe to your desired plan using your payment method that's been issued in the country you're currently in at https://spotify.com/premium. Please keep in mind that you'll need to invite all members of the Premium Family plan again.
