I pay for a premium account but still hears ads. How do I stop the ads?

I have similar issue. I've been charged but my account isn't showing premium. I have checked on the https://spotify.com/account but still no premium. Don't know what else to do?

Hello I’m still getting ads for my premium account when listening to music

This is insane. They allow ads even if you pay for premium. Spotify will pay for a huge OPENCLASSACTION soon!

I play podcasts of sleep music. I pay for premium. Jarring ads while I'm sleeping is not premium, Spotify.

The reaction of Spotify over the years to this issue is absolutely asinine. They give these so called "solutions" by pointing the finger at things that aren't to blame. "Maybe you're not logged in to your premium account", "delete cookies" etc. When they know FULL WELL that they're allowing ads to run but decide to stay radio silent about that part to prevent outrage over the fact that you're now partly paying for the "privilege" to listen to ads. All the while hiking up subscription prices.
