I want to cancel my free 2 month trial period and join my sons duo plan.

Does the trial subscription cancel automatically, once I've joined my son's duo plan? Will I still get charged?

Thanks for reaching out. We'll be glad to clarify the functionality of trials and memberships.

Usually, if you have your own Premium and join a Duo/Family plan, any Premium time you have will be removed immediately and you will join the plan in question. If you were to leave that plan immediately afterwards, your account will be on free. Some payment methods as well as some subscriptions like Family plans don't allow this direct switch and in that case, you'll have to cancel your existing plan manually, wait for your account to revert to free and then become a member of the desired plan.
