Is it possible to get a refund?

My spotify premium was supposed to be renewed on December 12th. Today (the 11th) I was planning to cancel it so it wouldn't charge me tomorrow. To my surprise, I found that spotify had charged me the renewal fee today (the 11th, not the actual renewal date / the 12th). I was wondering if it is possible to get a refund since I was under the impression that it actually renews on the renewal date.
