My Question or Issue

 

I signed up for Spotify duo to use with my boyfriend. We live in the same house, thus we have the same address. However, when I send him the link and he clicks on it from his iPhone, he’s able to select join duo, select his current Spotify account, enter our address, and then after the address it gives him the error. 

I know that the address that he’s putting in is the same as the address that I put in, because I ended up taking his phone from him and trying to put it in myself. So I know that they match. 

I clicked “try again”, and I’m doing it over and over and over and it still gives me the error. 


can’t figure it out, please help

Thanks for posting here.

 

It's a good idea to try using an incognito window or another browser to see if that makes a difference.

 

If that doesn't change anything, you can try on another device.

We tried it with a different device (brand new phone, in fact) as well as using an incognito tab and even using a different browser.

None of those things worked. Still says “There is a problem”

Thanks for keeping us posted.

 

It's a good idea to try updating the address and then try again invite your boyfriend to Premium Duo.

 

If that doesn't help, could you please send us a screenshot of the error message? We'll look into this further.
