Kicked off Premium

Kicked off Premium

I was kicked off of premium today for the second time claiming that I ran out of time left on my account. I just payed for premium a few months ago and bought it for the next year. Please help the wants me to buy my premium again for the third time!!

Hey there @Joshlorenz03-ca, welcome to the community!

 

That sounds very odd. Let's see what is going on here. First, I'd recommend checking your subscription pagewhere you can verify the status of your subscription. If it says you are on the Free ad-based version, head here to make sure if you are seeing the receipt for the yearly subscription.

 

  • If, on the subscription page, it mentions you're on Premium and you can also see the receipt, then log and back in the app to shake things up. If that doesn't help, try the directions here for a fresh reinstall of the client. 

If you are not seeing the receipt, there are a couple things to check, like, did the payment go through and did you subscribe via spotify.com/premium or a third service party like your cell phone provider or a gift card/ecard. If you acquired a yearly subscription via a third-party service, you'll need to get in touch with them so they can take a look behind the scenes for you.
