My unlimited subscription got canceled without me knowing, still getting billed for it, why?

My Question or Issue

I saw in late August that I suddenly had only had a free account and assumed Spotify had terminated the Unlimited option for everyone. Saw today that they are still charging me the fee for Unlimited without giving me access to more than a free account. Why is this?

Thanks for reaching out.

 

As far as I know, Spotify had sent out emails back in August to inform Unlimited users that they're closing the Unlimited plan.

 

I'd recommend that you check your subscription status on your account page, as well as taking a look at the receipts where you can see when the last payments were made.

 

Also, the Unlimited tier was only available on desktop, so you wouldn't see any extra features when using the mobile app. 🙂
