No Postal Code given by Discover card redeeming cashback for Spotify.

My Question or Issue

I redeemed my cashback from Discover for a Spotify gift card. However, when I go to redeem this gift card, Spotify is asking for a postal code and none was given to me. All I have is a 16 digit gift card number and a PIN for it.

I think it's just your own postal code address. I don't think it's part of the verification. Probably they just want to know where you from.
