My Question or Issue

With my new samsung phone, i noticed that on samsung member app, i can redeem a 3 month trial for samsung members on spotify, but attempting to get the promotion on the app, i get the error saying i'm not elegible for the promotion. Do i have to create another account? With the gmail linked to both spotify and samsung member app, i never had premium before.

Welcome to Spotify Community and thanks for reaching out here!

The offer is only available for users who haven't previously signed up for another trial or used the same payment details on another account. If even meeting all criteria you continue to get the error message, I recommend that you try a clean reinstall of Spotify app on your phone. Make sure you follow the steps from this guide and not just delete and re-download the app, as the clean reinstallation involves deleting the app cache which may cause issues some times.

 

After that try to redeem the offer once again.

I tried it and still says i'm not eligible for the offer. Even with a new account.

I suggest that you contact the Customer Support team to get help with it. Just go on there and choose the best channel for you and explain your issue or doubt. Someone will help you as soon as possible.
