Payment passed on my credit card, but I didn't subscribe

Payment passed on my credit card, but I didn't subscribe

I had two accounts, but I cancelled both and made a completely new one so it would be simpler for me. Then, I used the new account to get the free premium trial for a month but decided to cancel it. However, I noticed today that I was charged 10$ on July 22nd and I found it strange, considering the fact that my trial did not even last a full day. Did anything similar happen to someone else? Is there a way I could get a refund?

Hey, @Yijiejie
Welcome to Spotify Community and thanks for reaching out here!

First of all, I suggest that you check if your old accounts were really deleted and if your current account is on Free or under a Premium subscription.

Besides those steps, I suggest that you take a look at this following article and check if anything helps you in your case:

If everything is working well, but your issue persists, let me know and we'll go through the next steps.

If you have any other further questions or need more help, let me know! I'd love to help!

Best Regards,
hezorg

Hi! Thanks for reaching out :)! I just checked if the old accounts were closed and they are. The only one left is this one! I also went to the link you sent me and followed the instructions, but nothing worked or applied to me. Plus, im using the free plan with this account.

Have a nice day ^^

Alright, @Yijiejie

So I suggest that you be in touch with the Customer Support to get help on it and check if is there the possibility to request a refund.

You can contact the Customer Support here.

Just go on there and answer the questions that best explain your issue and then tap "I still need help". Fill the form and then you'll need to wait for a reply on your inbox. Someone will answer you within 24-48 hours. If you get an automated reply email telling you to check the help section or the community, you need to reply back to it, even if it's from a no-reply address.

Alternatively, if you prefer support via Twitter, you can tweet @SpotifyCares or message Spotify Cares Facebook.

Best Regards,

hezorg 🙂
