Premium Duo for me and my son

Hi there,

I upgraded from Premium to Premium Duo today. Until now, my son (who is nearly 12 years old now) used Spotify on his mobile phone with my account. Now I thought the Premium Duo Abo would work perfectly and is not so expensive like the Family Thing. But now he can't create his own account - I think because he is too young. But I can't imagine, that there is no solution! There has to be a possibility that he can use his own account and my premium duo abo. Does anybody know how we can manage that? Thank you in Advance!

Hey @Martina76, thanks for reaching out to the Community!

I double checked the terms and conditions in your country, and it seems like you need to be 18 years old to use Spotify in Germany, or 16 with parental consent. There is more information on the terms here. 

In this case, your child would have to wait until they are 16 to use Spotify, or you can subscribe to Premium Family and then get Spotify Kids for your 12 year old.
