My Question or Issue

The Spotify premium on my account has just disconnected on my windows 10 laptop. When I try to log into my account to see what is going on I get the below error message 

upstream connect error or disconnect/reset before headers. reset reason: connection failure

when connecting to the URL: https://accounts.spotify.com/login/ott/v2#token=<replaced_my_access_token>

I have tried on multiple laptops and browsers and nothing is working, however, my phone still seems to be unaffected.

Could you just confirm for us if you have trouble logging in both in the app and on the account page as well?


If you are unable to access your account via the desktop app, it is possible that it needs to be updated to the latest available version. You can also do a clean reinstall of the app on your Windows devices to be sure everything between your device and the account is properly synchronized.

You can also try using an incognito page and a different internet connection to see if the Account will load up for you.

Hi Elena, 

 

Thanks for the tips. It was just the account page I was having trouble logging into and my premium was no longer valid on my desktop app, but after re-installing Spotify and logging into the desktop app again my premium was restored and the account page seemed to load fine as well in the browser.

 

Not sure what was going on but all sorted.
