Premium for students

I signed up for a premium account before I knew I could get a student discount. Is there a way to swap to get the student discount without loosing all of my downloaded music?

Absolutely! Just follow the steps here to sign up for the student discount with your current user account.
Once confirmed that you are eligible (up to 28 days verification time), you will see the reduced rate on your next billing cycle with no interruption to your Premium library.

Already have Premium?

That’s cool! The discounted rate will automatically begin on your next billing date. You can check the status of your subscription at any time.

Note: If you subscribed through any other company than Spotify (e.g. with your internet/mobile provider or iTunes), you need to cancel your existing subscription with them before signing up.
