Premium region differences?

I'm living in Japan and want to use the Japanese Spotify for the Japanese music libraries. I want to buy premium but it requires a Japanese credit card and mine is Canadian. If I purchased premium on the Canadian Spotify, would I be able to use it on my Japanese version?
