My Question or Issue

Hi, I currently have a Spotify Premium Account in Singapore linked to a Singapore credit card. I've recently moved to India with my wife, and we live at the same address. I sent up Spotify Duo for my wife, with her Indian debit card and the account is active, but wasn't able to add myself using the same address because it says I am still based in Singapore.

Do I need to cancel my Singapore account before I can be added to her Duo Account? If I do will I lose my playslits, liked songs etc?

Thanks

Phil

Hey @117823629, thanks for reaching out to the Community!

The reason you're unable to join her plan is that your account is based in a different country. You would need to cancel your plan, and then ask your wife to send you an invite from her account following these steps

You won't lose your saved content such as your music and playlists when you cancel your plan and switch to a new one.

Let me know how this goes!
