Problem accepting Spotify Family invitation

Hi! I am unable to accept my family's Spotify family invite. When I click on the 'accept invitation' link through my email, it directs me to the main Spotify page without prompting me to formally accept the family code. When I copy and paste the string of alphanumeric code into the 'redeem' tab, Spotify informs me that the code is not working 😞 I have tried to accept the link through my phone and on a laptop but still unsuccessful 😞

Let's try clearing your browser's cache and cookies, using an incognito window, or a different browser. Also, make sure you're logged into your own Spotify account before clicking the Accept Invite button in the email.

If this doesn't do the trick, ask the plan owner to cancel the current invitation and to send you a new one. This should take you straight to the address verification page.
