Problem with my subscription

Problem with my subscription

Hello. On February 2022 I suscribed to the uniersitary plan and I knew that this February (2023) I had to revalid my student condition. I did and I recived my confirmation message and the pay was the same as usual (a half of the premium individual cost) but this month (March 2023) my recive was the same as the premium individual. I have the mails and messages of confirmation for my student condition validation. I have check my plan already and I says I'm suscribe to the premium individual. So I did again all the process to get the student discount but it says that I'm suscribe to the primium individual. I don't know what's happening. I really disconform with this problem because this is not the first time I have this kind of problems with the payment because last year for an error I pay for the duo premium which I didn't want. I hope spotify can solve this problem or I'll cancel my subscription.

Thank you for reaching out here in the Community. 

 

Based on what you're describing it's possible that you verified your student discount with SheerID, but never activated the discounted subscription itself. You've mentioned that you have the e-mails, so we'd suggest that you find the one with the activation link and click on it to get the discount.


Keep in mind that the link from SheerID is valid for 7 days only. With that being said, if you've verified your student status and you've received the e-mail more than 7 days ago - that might be the reason why you are not able to activate the plan.

 

If that's the case, we'd recommend that you contact SheerID directly via this website. Their team can send you a new link allowing you to get the student discount.
