Simultaneous streaming of different songs on separate deices with premium account

Hi, I have a premium account for years. More and more we have a "fight" for the stream. Meaning, when I am running and listening to whatever, my daughter turns on her spotify and mine stops, then my wife starts spotify in the car and ...you get the point. Why can't we all have our own stream at the same time on different devices? Like Netflix?

I see in the archive that this has been requested before, and I cannot believe this is not getting enough votes. This should be a normal service for a premium account.

Hey @hilbrandbodewes

The best solution to end this conflict is making separate Premium accounts for your family members. There is actually a good offer - Premium for Family! Up to 6 accounts under one discounted price.

This way you can all listen to your favourite music at the same time, without worrying that you hitting play will cut off your wife's listening session. 🙂
You can also get more personalized music suggestions from Spotify.

Spotify accounts are not really meant for sharing. Your music listening session getting interrupted when someone else using your account on another device hits play is expected and good for security reasons.

Hope this helps 🙂
