My Question or Issue

I availed the [amount removed by Mod] premium account on [date removed by Mod] but when I checked my bank account monitoring, Spotify deducted [removed]. I checked the receipts via https://www.spotify.com/account/subscription/receipt and the amount stated in them is [removed]. This has happened for two consecutive months.

It's just a very small amount but I'm just curious because the receipts state that [removed] is deducted but my bank account monitoring states otherwise.

Is this an additional charge?

I can confirm that Spotify's price in the Philippines is indeed [removed by Mod] and any additional amount seen on the bank statement can be due to either:

  • Regional taxes for entertainment services
  • Foreign transaction fees
  • Other bank or credit card fees

I would recommend getting in touch with your bank to inquire about further info on taxes that could be applied to online/foreign payments.
