Spotify Duo does not accept partner

Spotify Duo does not accept partner

When inviting my partner for Spotify Duo, everything goes well up to the point where they enter the same address as mine. Then suddenly there's an error message and we can't continue. It might have to do that they previously lived in another country, but they deleted and downloaded spotify again, opened a new account and nowhere they ask for a country verification, so I don't see the problem. 

 

Any ideas how to solve this issue?

Hey @Finch1, thanks for reaching out to the Community!

Can you send another invite to that member following these steps? Once they see the invite email, ask them to accept it using a different browser or private window. It is best to complete this verification process while you two are at the same physical address. 

 

If you're still having trouble, please make sure that the address is entered the exact same way as it is for you, the plan manager. This means do not abbreviate, or enter a different number or street name than what is listed under your account as that can trigger an error.
