Spotify free not showing any ads/allowing skips?

I just created a Spotify Free account and it appears to be giving me premium features. To confirm, I have double checked and it is definitely the free version and I have not entered any credit card details. I have seen elsewhere in the community that sometimes there are 7-14 day free trials given randomly, is this what is happening?

If this is happening on a new account, then this is indeed our 7/14-day trial which is available in selected markets. Please note that it doesn't require you to enter a payment method and it gets discontinued automatically by the system.
