Spotify said payment failed yet my card was charged

Spotify said payment failed yet my card was charged

I needed to update my CC on my account.
Spotify said payment failed. Yet it was charged on my card

Hey there, 

 

Thanks for posting here and welcome.

 

There are a few things to check:

  1. If you see an error when trying to update your payment method, we'd suggest you give a look at this article. There you'll find some troubleshooting you can try.
  2. We'd suggest you check the receipts of your account. There, you can take a look at all your charges and make sure everything is in order and if the last payment was taken.
  3. It's possible that some of the charges you're seeing in your bank statement are pending. In that scenario, we'd recommend you check their status or contact your bank to make sure if the amount was correctly taken.

This same thing just happened to me, I was deducted from my bank app, but on my Spotify app it's sayings the Payment didn't go through and now I can't access my Spotify playlist
