Spotify when travelling to Russia

My Question or Issue

So I'm an American citizen going to Russia and I have Spotify, would I still be able to use the app when I go over if it was an existing account in the US?

Unfortunately, it's not possible to say Spotify services would work properly in Russia. That because it depends if the related servers are still reachable or if there is any local internet restrictions in there. In both cases, Spotify doesn't have full control.

Sorry for not be able to give you a more objetive answer to your question at the moment. But I hope you can continue listening to your favorite songs, regardless anything, because listening changes all 😉

hi. i used sputify for about 2 weeks. i live in russia (country of shit) i used the link https://open.spotify.com and listened to music without any crap with ban in the country. today i opened sputify and i can't listen to music anymore. how can i listen to my favorite tracks on your convenient platform if i live in a country for the poor, where my salary doesn't even allow me to move somewhere where sputify is available?(

My Question or Issue

Whenever i try to log in my spotify account, it doesnt show me any song, as if i was in restricted region. I tried several solutions including using vpn to change the region, but it seems to not work. Strangely, web player works on any device. App player doesn't for ANY android device. What may be the problem? How do i solve it, perhaps its cause is in region of my account getting.. glitched?

I tried:
Reinstalling
Deleting cashe, data
Restarting app and phone
Changing region in settings
Removing an SD card
Installing old version of app.


When i first created into account, my region was russian, may be it will help the problem. I know it doesnt work in russia, but in other regions it doesnt work too
