Se realizó un cargo a mi tarjeta por la verificación SheerID y aún cuando la compra del descuento fue exitosa, continúo recibiendo una alerta porque mi pago mensual no pasó, ¿Qué sucede con el primer cargo realizado? Esto ocurrió el día de ayer al medio día.

Right now, the community is supported in English, so I hope you don't mind me replying like this.

 

When you complete the student discount validation, you should receive an email with a button to complete the purchase. If you didn't receive the email or you received it but didn't complete the purchase, the payment could just be pending.

 

If you didn't complete the student discount process, the payment should go back to your bank account soon, since it wasn't authorized.

 

It would also be wise to check if you have multiple Spotify accounts following these steps. You could've added the discount to the wrong account which is causing this inconvenience.

Hi! I did finish the purchase but it was at the same time that my
suscription payment. Then, it's a double charge? I mean, last year didn't
occur like this.

Just to confirm, did you check if you had more than one Spotify account?

 

If you only have one Spotify account, try logging in here to check if there are two receipts for the same month.

 

You could've been charged the full price just before renewing the discount. If this is the case, the transaction for the discount should go back to your bank account automatically.

Hi! Yes, i have only one account and, for the month, there's only a
charge for 49 MXN.

In this case, the second payment should show as pending on your bank statement. This means that the money was put on hold when you entered the card details, and should go back to your bank account soon.

 

I suggest reaching out to your bank for more information about the pending transaction.
