Student discount not verified but still charged

Hi everyone, 

I tried using the student edge referral to get the spotify premium student discount and it said it wouldnt charge me unless my school was verified. My school however wasnt verified but spotify has still charged me the $6 and my account has not been upgraded to premium nor have i received a confirmation email of any sort. Whats going on?

If you haven't received a receipt from Spotify to your account's email address, it's very likely that it's just a pending charge. There's more info about this here.

Since you mention that your school isn't listed, remember that you can always go Premium at the regular rate from this page.
