Student discount to Premium subscription

Hello,

I originally signed up for Spotify Premium at the student NUS discount price. My NUS card has since run out and I started paying the full amount for premium some time ago. My card details have changed recently and Spotify was unable to bill me. When I try and change my card details on my account it thinks I’m paying the discount price and asks for my NUS card details.

How do I get it to recognise that I’m paying for full premium and don’t have an active student card anymore?

You need to head to your Subscription page and cancel you premium subscription altogether and then remove your current payment info. Your premium will remain active until the next billing date. After your account is reverted to Free, just add your new card and subscribe again. Don't worry, you won't lose any saved music/playlists.
