Switching from Solo Premium to already established Family Premium

I currently have my own Premium account (just for me). My parents have a Family Premium account. As I am moving back in with them for the foreseeable future, I wanted to switch my Premium account over into their Family Premium account. Is this possible? Do I have to wait until my subscription runs out before I can switch over?

 

When I tried to redeem my invite code, I received this error message:"Unfortunately this Premium code does not seem to be valid. Try again or contact customer service."

 

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hey @JeyqwopSpotify 

 

Normally, you don't need to cancel your individual Premium. Once you join a Family Premium plan, your remaining time in your individual Premium will 'freeze' and will become available once you're out of the Family Premium.
