Unable to change country when updating payment info

Unable to change country when updating payment info

Hi, I am trying to update my payment infor with a card in my new country. When I am prompted to change the location, it just returns me to the payment screen (card details cleared) and nothing changes.

 

Likewise if I try to modify the country directly in the user profile, I am unable to do so, because the dropdown box is unchangable. Is this a bug, or what?

 

The bank/card has no issues at all.

Welcome to the Spotify Community.

 

Keep in mind that if you have a Premium subscription and want to update your country settings, you'll need to use valid payment method in the country where you'd like to use your account.

 

Once you've done this, you should see the changes on your account on your next billing date. We have more info about this here.
