Upgrading premium to premium duo

I subscribed my spotify to Premium a few months back. But yesterday my wife asked me to change my subscription to Premium Duo. So she subscribed the Premium Duo and invited me, I accepted it without cancelling my own subscription. 

So the question is, does my earlier Premuim subscription automatically cancelled by upgrading to Premium Duo which was bought by different account and different Credit Card? Or do I have to cancel manually by some way?

If changed your Premium subscription to Premium Duo, you should only be charged for Duo.
