Verified Student ID but doesn't allow me to buy Premium

Verified Student ID but doesn't allow me to buy Premium

Earlier today, I used my Student ID for my Spotify account and got it verified. Upon trying to purchase Premium Student, it says that my payment failed. I've quadruple checked that the details are correct and that my account country is Canada. I try with 2 other cards and the same issue comes up. Weirdly enough, when I go into the account center and try saving the 3 cards, the same error shows up. At one point I also tried paying with PayPal and that ended up not working; I received a pending charge that was removed hours later and I was not charged. I've tried this on 4 separate devices, 4 separate accounts (to test if the cards save), different Wifi networks, different browsers, clearing cookies and caches, using private windows, using a clean install of Google Chrome, nothing works. A support person got me in contact with upper support and they got back to me saying that they weren't able to do anything. I'm just extremely confused, because, it's not a card issue, not a country issue, not a device issue, not an account issue, and that support also has no way of fixing this. Can somebody help?

Can you try turning off any VPN you may be using on your devices, or try it on a different network to see if it makes any difference?
