Hi @Mainegal,

Thanks for posting in the Spotify Community, and welcome!

If you switch your plan from Premium Individual to Basic Individual, the only thing you'll lose is the monthly audiobook listening time that's included as part of Premium plans. However, audiobooks will still be available to you as one-time purchases when you're subscribed to a Basic plan.

Also note that if you cancel your Basic plan, it’s not possible to resubscribe to it.

Feel free to read more about how Basic plans work in this support article, and let me know if you have any other questions.

Have a good day!

Hello Adam,

do you know if audio dramas (like "Elea Eluanda" or "Bibi und Tina") and Podcasts count as audiobooks as well?

Thanks in davance!

Hi @Prissi1,

Thanks for posting in the Spotify Community, and welcome!

Podcasts on Spotify aren’t considered to be audiobooks, and the two examples of audio dramas that you shared aren’t considered to be audiobooks, either; so you’d still be able to listen to them on Spotify without any issues if you switch to a Basic plan.
