Why not immediate upgrade?

Why not immediate upgrade?

I just upgraded from Premium Individual to Premium Duo.

 

At the same time I changed my country from Denmark to the Philippines, because I have moved to the Philippines with filipino address, bankaccount and mobile number.

 

But my account says "Your subscription will change to Premium Duo on 6/26/2026."

 

Why does it not upgrade immediately? I want to use the Premium Duo now and not wait 22 days?

Typically, a subscription that is changed does reflect immediately and charges are pro-rated to cover the difference in pricing between plans. 

 

However, if you have a discount, a bundle with Hulu, a group plan, or you change your account's location (as you mentioned you did), the plan should upgrade in the next billing cycle. 

 

Unfortunately, in this case there's nothing Spotify can do to speed up the process.

 

If anything else comes up, the Community will be here for you!
