Year subscription offer: Does not work in Germany?

Hi

I received an email in german "Brandneues Angebot fuer Premium: ein ganzes Jahr fuer nur 99,00 €" from hello@spotify.com.

I could click on a link in the email landing on a page that says me in german something like "it looks like you are not eligible for this reduced product". I sent a mail to hello@spotify.com, but I got an error from the mail service saying that the email does not exist. 

Questions:

- was this email legit?

- if so, why does it announces yearly subscription with discount but this is actually not possible?

- why is the mail send from an account where I cannot reply?
