Your payment method and country don't match.

I live and study in Germany, but I am originally from the Netherlands and have a Dutch bank account (inc. credit card). When I try to pay for a (student discounted) premium account, I get the error in the subject line, because the country my account is registered with is Germany while my CC is Dutch.

Is there any way for me to make this work? I do not need a German bank account so I'm not going to get one just for Spotify.

In this case, you can only subscribe if you have a payment method that's been issued in Germany.

That's sad to see... i was going to be a premium and now i can't.
I have a bank card from other country.
It seems spotify don't want to receive my money... really sad
