changing postal code and payment

The credit card used to pay for our premium family plan had to be cancelled so I followed the link emailed to me about updating to a new payment method. I have tried inputing my new card infomration three times and it keeps popping up with a red warning about how it's not working. The only thing that stood out to me was that the postal coade listed on my spotify profile does not match the one on the card. However when I went into facebook to update my address it turns out I never had an address listed there. The questions I have are how do I upfate my postal code if it wasnt on facebook in the first place and if that's not the issue why isnt my card working?
