Albums and listing has become very slow

Over the last few months the albums section has become increasingly slow. I'm having very laggy behavior on Win 10 and OS X. The only solution is clear cache before I start the software. 

On Android it's also slow. Loading albums with many tracks is very, very slow. This is restricted to the Albums section: If I add the same slow-loading album as a playlist, it works just fine. 

Re-installing and so on does nothing. 

Your albums system has developed really bad performance issues on all platforms. What's going on? Surely you must have noticed this yourselves? It verges on unusable.

Yes, have the same. Like 1000 other...

I have the main problem on Android 8 and also 9 with the 8.5.66.1002.

It was slow on 8 since weeks. It was fast on 9. But now it starts getting slow on 9 by having more and more items in Albums and more and more downloaded songs.

Very slow are the audio books.
