[All Platforms][Search] Songs on website but not playable

How come some songs are visible on the Spotify website but not playable and not visible or playable on the mobile or desktop app?

Hey there @SaltiFinger,

 

Thanks for posting about this here in the Community!

 

Keep in mind that while we want all the world’s music and podcasts on Spotify, availability can vary over time and between countries, depending on the permissions from rights holders.

 

No worries though as new content is added to Spotify every day, so even if you can’t find something you’re looking for right now, hopefully it may reappear soon.

 

We'd recommend taking a look at this support site article for more details on why some content might be grayed out and won't play in the app.

 

On another note, we hope you don't mind us moving your thread from the Idea Exchange to this board so more users with a similar question can find the info more easily.

 

Hope this info is helpful but don't hesitate to give us a shout if there's anything else!
