App crashing when local files are loaded in player

My Question or Issue

As of a few days ago, whenever a local file is played, audio of it can be heard for a second and then Spotify promptly crashes. When the app is reopened, it tries to load the local file again, and thus continues to crash. Force stop/cache did nothing, and the only thing that works is a completely fresh install. As you can imagine, this is not ideal. I have local files in a bunch of playlists and I'd like to not have to redownload my entire library every time one is accidentally played.

I am using the latest version (9.0.28.360) and it is worth pointing out that these are the same audio files that have never caused problems previously.

We understand you’ve already tried some troubleshooting steps including reinstalling the app, but to be sure that we covered the basics - did you use the steps for a clean reinstall mentioned in this article? If not, give them a try to see if it makes any difference. 

Also, would you mind checking on a different device (using your own account) to see if it makes any difference? If you don't have another one available, you can borrow one from a friend or family member to test it out. It would also be great if you could have the same friend or family member log in with their account on your phone, to see if the issue persists.
