My Question or Issue

I have spent a long time following all my artists, and adding my favourite albums to my library to make sure it is easy to navigate in my library.

I have downloaded several albums which I want to be able to listen to when on-the-move.

When I go to my library, and apply the "Downloaded" filter and the "Artists" filter, it only displays the artists where I have downloaded every single album I saved to my library. Any artists where I have only downloaded a couple of albums are not shown. I therefore have to use the "Downloaded" and "Album" filter instead in order to see my downloaded music.

Is this a bug? Because I can't see how anyone thought this would be useful. Is there something I'm missing here?

Hey @Alkerino,

Thanks for reaching out on the Community!

It sounds like what you're seeing is part of the app and its sorting features. If you're using the app in Offline mode, another option is to go directly to the Artist page of the artist you'd like to listen to. From there, you should be able to play all tracks that you've made available for offline listening.

Spotify also constantly strives to improve the user experience with its features and the easiest way to achieve this is by regular app updates. That's why we appreciate you taking the time to share your suggestions and thought about how to use the sorting options. If you think other users might also like it, feel free to go ahead and create an idea. We always take new ideas and feedback into consideration to improve the app.

We suggest checking this help article as well, for useful tips on how to submit an idea. As a heads-up, it's good to know that the higher the number of votes an idea gets, the more likely it is for the idea to be implemented.

We hope this clear things up. Cheers!
