Being able to rearrange songs in a playlist

It’d be awesome if you could create a playlist and then be able to move around the songs wherever you want in the playlist. It’s kind of disappointing, because if you have a favorite song, but it’s at the bottom of the playlist and you want to move it towards the top, you can’t. I know you can add the song to your queue, but yeah being able to arrange songs how you want them would be amazing! 🙂

Hi there, good questions! The good thing is there is already an awesome solution for that which is called Sorting with Filters.

On every playlist, you get many different options to sort however you want. See the below screenshot from the Desktop App. You can use these options to sort your songs, playlists, albums, artists, and more! These are available on all Spotify Apps. You can read the support article here. On Desktop, you can use the filter from the top-right or click the items like #, Title, Date Added, Length, etc.
