Bit of clarification about liked songs

My Question or Issue

So. I have transferred from gmusic and dont like a particular thing about liked songs.

So, when I add an artist to library, I can simply tap the artist and press shuffle- spotify shuffles the entire artist (or most of it?) and I'm pretty okay. But shortly after I started liking songs, I noticed that my shuffled playlists became unexpectedly short and similar. It turns out spotify spotify started to shuffle only liked songs when I press the button and not entire artist. Apparently I have to >go to artist and only then shuffle.

Made me remove all likes and it kinda sucks. Is there a way to keep likes and shuffle artist without going to its page? I can make playlists, and I can find 'liked songs' button, no need to do it for me.

Welcome to the Community!

Spotify shuffles the songs you've liked with priority. Not to worry, we've got a workaround for you - try creating a separate playlist with all the albums of the specific artist and play that playlist in shuffle mode.

This way you can keep liking songs which will be saved in your Liked Songs, while being able to shuffle the artist's entire discography without being affected by the tracks you saved.
