My Question or Issue
I have been a Premium member since 2012 with several cellphones working fine playing Spotify Music. No suddenly I can not access my account from my cellphone but on my laptop there is no problem. I have deleted and loaded Spotify app several times from Google Play. The Spotify app-password is changed from my Laptop. When trying to logon from my cellphone with username (email-address) and password nothing is happening. After a while Forgot Your password? appears.
HELP....
Hey there @jornhans,
Thanks for reaching out to the Community about this.
We suggest you first disable any power saving or data cleaning settings on your mobile device. Alternatively, you can try authorizing Spotify to run without restrictions despite the mentioned settings being enabled. It’s worth it trying this since such features can often prevent the app from operating at full capacity.
It's a good idea to run a clean reinstall of the Spotify app on your device as well. We recommend this step as it'll remove the old drivers first and then install the new ones. It'll also get you the latest version of Spotify. These changes tend to solve issues like the one you're experiencing. Give your device a quick restart as well before you open the newly installed app.
Also, do you mind sending us a screenshot showing the login page? Just attach the image to your next response to us. This way we can take a closer look at the issue.
We'll look out for your reply.
Hi...
Implementing your suggestions did not give me access to Spotify app.
The responce on the logging-page is still FORGOT YOUR PASSWORD?
It is not possible to make a screenshot of the logging-page due to cellphone safety policy.
Cellphone app for Facebook and LinkedIn is still working, but the Email-app is not. Access-problem with Spotify-app and Email-app started at the same day.
I don't know if the problems are related.
My cellphone was bought in Q4 2014. Is that a problem ?
