I have a 2022 Tesla Model Y. I subscribe to a podcast known as Breaking Points Premium. I can listen to the non-premium podcast but the premium one loads forever and then chooses some other random episode from a random podcast to play instead. Is there a solution for this?
Are you able to clarify the reasoning/rationale for this? I'm not even talking premium or subscription based podcasts, but freely available ones which won't have any attached licensing issues. Podcasts I'll listen to fine on my desktop or phone app, but can't on the Tesla app. Is it just laziness? Unwilling to put in the work? Seems like a reason to stop paying a switch to Apple Music in honesty.

I have a model S with premium package. I am not able to hear France inter radio and podcast .

Does the same happen when trying on another network connection? Do you also see France Inter content grayed out like the original poster of the issue? Let us know how exactly things look like on your end so we dont repeat ourselves when troubleshooting.

Just to confirm, have you already tried with a different internet connection? Also, can you listen to those podcasts on other devices?
We'd also like to know if this happens with all podcasts or only with some specific ones.

Just to confirm that I have still the exact same pb on my side. The France Inter podcasrts are not available with the spotify application of my tesla model Y. The problem is there with the LTE connection of the car but also when the car is connected to my wifi at home. The same podcasts are of course available with other devices like my smartphone or my laptop connected to the same wifi. I'm located in France so normally it should not be a question of local access right to these podcasts. Please note that I have not seen the pb on other french podcasts. Interesting additional information: I'm pretty sure that the bug disappeared during a certain number of months but it came back a few weeks ago (update of the spotify app in the car or update on spotify server side).

As @Eni asked, does this happen on one podcast, or a few or is it at random. Could you tell us which podcast is affected.
Please send us your devices OS version, the current version of Spotify you are running on your phone and on your Tesla, that way we can investigate further.

I use only the hotspot of my phone. I tried also with my wife's phone.
I can listen those podcasts on other devices like my phone, my pc,....
it seems to be only with "Radio France" and "France TV" podcasts because I can listen other french podcast like : "Code source" , "Silence on joue !", "L'heure du monde",....
To help you, I read some forum about this subject and what you need to know, it seems the "Spotify Tesla account" (for french car) is localized at Netherlands. So, may be when I used my Spotify account, the location remains at Netherlands but that shouldn't be the case.

This is not random. All France Inter podcasts are concerned. One example with "le code a changé" (very interesting podcast on digital world and impact on society by the way): https://open.spotify.com/episode/072vYIuQrvToPWFbZ0OEfH. It works with all my devices (pixel 7a /android 14, windows 11 laptop, Denon AVR3400/spotify connect...) but not with the application in my Tesla. For the version of the application in the Tesla, as this is a build-in spotify app (job done by Tesla), I can't tell you the version.of the application. I can only mentioned that my Tesla is running the 2014.8.9 software. As there are regular update of the tesla software, I'm not able to say if the problem appears after a Tesla update (but I would bet that it's the case). To correct the issue I'm pretty sure that the contact with the tesla engineers who are doing the compilation/integration of the spotify app in Tesla multimedia device is needed. To improve my chance to resolve the issue, I'm also going to open a ticket on tesla side and I will mention this thread

We've had a look in to this, and for now, it's expected that some podcasts might not play directly in Tesla cars.

The Daily podcast no longer loads in my Tesla Model Y. Whenever I play it, I get “Network Error - Check internet connectivity” but this isn’t the issue since other podcasts and music will play from both the car, and the app.
