Change storage location button is not showing up [Android]

My Question or Issue

Hey guys,

I have a problem so that the option/button to change the downloaded songs storage location is not there. I know the path Settings -> Other but the only option there is logout. I reinstalled the app multiple times, but that changes nothing. Can someone explain/fix this?

This is a very important option for me, because my phone doesn´t have that much storage.

Hello @Manik_TheGuru 

That issue could be caused by problems with your SD card.

I'm not too sure how your storage settings look in the settings app but can you try and find out if you cannot change the default storage over there.

Another thing, have you been able to change the default location in other apps when downloading things?

You could try and download a picture off google chrome and see if the app allows you to change the storage path.

Also you could try:

• restarting your device, if you haven't done so.
• remove your SD card and put it back in.
• A last ditch effort could be formatting the card, but that would effectively erase all data on it.

So go ahead and try those steps, I'll be waiting to hear from you.

As I tried to try out your suggestions it was suddenlly fixed.

I don´t know why this happened but at the end it´s fixed. It was maybe a visual glitch or something.

But still thank you for your suggestions. I think people with the same problem find solutions here.
