Colaborative Playlist not working

Colaborative Playlist not working

When I share the playlist with a certain person, they can’t add songs to playlist shared. Does not appear in the Add to playlists option the playlist shared.

Hi there, @FabricioPepe,

Welcome to the Spotify Community!

Could you check if they're added as a collaborator on your end? You can do so by opening the playlist - their name should appear next to yours underneath the playlist's title at the top. Clicking on your names will open a new window where you can set their role in the playlist.

If they don't appear next to you, try sending them another invite. To make sure they join the playlist successfully, have them copy the invite link and paste it in the app's search bar.

In case they're already showing as collaborator, ensure they aren't using the Web Player as collaborative playlists aren't officially supported there yet. In order to add/remove songs, they'd need to use the Spotify app instead.

Cheers 🤘

Hello!
Unfortunately it hasn’t worked yet. I’ve redone the procedures twice.
The contributor did not create the account by facebook, and I did, this can influence?

Thanks for the response @FabricioPepe.

It shouldn't matter how you've registered a Spotify account in order to share and make playlists collaborative.

Could you give us some more info about what happens exactly when the other person follows the link? They're able to open and view the playlist, but can't add songs is this correct?

Could you ask them to open the link on another device to test what happens there?

I also recommend that you change the privacy settings of the playlist to see if any of them would make a difference and you can check out the info in this article

Lastly if there's no difference it would be great if you could send us a screenshot or two of how things look like from your end, only make sure no sensitive info is visible (such as usernames). You can attach them to your next response via the Insert Image option in the post editor.

We'll be on the lookout.
