Garmin spotify not registering my listen history

I have synced a playlist from my spotify to my garmin forerunner, it works great but none of the tracks I am listening to are being tracked in my recently played, its not contributing to my play count on tracks

Thanks for reaching out. Garmin watches usually require you to download content in order to play it, as shown here. Since this isn't streamed through the app itself and is effectively offline, this won't register in the listening history.
