How do I fix “device limit reached” trying to download music onto my phone?

Solved!

How do I fix “device limit reached” trying to download music onto my phone?

I can’t download my music onto my phone, I recently just got a new phone and can’t fix this problem. I want to download my likes on my library but “device limit reached remove all downloads from another device to listen offline with this one”

Delete all downloaded content from another device so you can listen offline using this device.

My Question or Issue

When I re-downloaded spotify with a new phone, it showed that my offline device had reached its limit, but the old phone was no longer able to delete songs downloaded from spotify.

Hello, I have activated Spotify on 2 Devices that I used temporarily. Now on my new device I get the message, that I can not download music any more. Please fix this. I have revoked all devices twice - It did not fix the issue. Thank, M

My Question or Issue

I reset my Apple Watch and my phone and then installed Spotify again. When I tried to download a song from my Apple Watch, it said it exceeded the downloadable device and told me to delete it/offline playback settings from my old device. But I already reset it and can't do that... Also, turning off offline playback settings won't reset it. When I open the Manage Download Items window now, I have 2 iPhones I used before, 1 now, 2 Apple Watches before reset, and 1 now. Just in case, I logged out and changed all passwords, but they're the same. What should I do? I'm going crazy

Good morning everyone,

I reset my Android device to factory settings but when I try to download my favorite playlists to listen offline again, it tells me that I’ve reached the maximum number of devices on which I can listen to tracks offline. What can I do to be able to listen to the tracks offline on the device where I performed the factory reset?
