I need help, I don't know what's happening here

I need help, I don't know what's happening here

I didn't know how to properly tag this, but I'm using premium, this happens on both my devices, as well as the web player. I'm in the US.

This video on reddit, posted by me, explains what's going on.

Hey there @CalyJAG,

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome.

That is indeed an odd behavior. In this case, we'd recommend that you:

  • Remove all apps connected to your account. If you notice anything suspicious, you can remove it with the REMOVE ACCESS button. You can easily reconnect the apps that you use whenever you want.
  • Access your account page to sign out everywhere. You'll just need to use the button you'll find by scrolling to the bottom of the Account Overview page, under Security and privacy.

If the above doesn't do the trick, we'd like to gather some additional info. Please send us the following:

  • The make/model and OS of the affected devices.
  • The exact Spotify version you're running there.
  • Does this happen if you open a different account on the affected devices? You can create a free test account to check if this issue persists there.
  • Did you notice if this started to happen after a specific event such as an OS update?

Keep us in the loop!
